Rival cult clash kills 2 in Kwara Poly
Sources informed our correspondent that the two suspected rivals engaged themselves on Wednesday night and the police were informed about the development but they dispersed before police could get to the scene.
It was further gathered that the lifeless bodies of the victims, which were suspected to be members of the gangs, were found early morning by resident along Sango-Oyun areas who alerted the Kwara Police Command.
The Public Relations Officer of Kwara Poly, Alhaji Yunus Abdulkadir, who denied the victims and the cultists group as the student of the institution, said the incident did not happen on the campus and he could not give more details about it.
The state police PPRO, DSP Olufemi Fabode, said one victim was beheaded and his head was taken away, adding that the corpses had been deposited at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH) mortuary.
