Unilorin Post UTME Enters Day Two

Date: 2012-06-12

As the University of Ilorin 2012/2013 Post UTME enters day two, the University authority says it is working hard to ensure all candidates get registered before the deadline.

The Director of Computer Science and Information Technology COMSIT directorate Professor Isaac Adimula stated this while participating a special programme on UNILORIN FM.

While giving an update of the online registration details, Professor Adimula said over one thousand candidates paid this morning stating that a total of thirty-six thousand have so far registered as at this morning.

He said almost all of the registered candidates have been scheduled.

Professor Adimula said results of about seven thousand candidates have been uploaded stating that candidates will get their results in not more than twenty four hours after the examination.

He encouraged the students who are yet to complete their online registration to be patient as registration lasts till Thursday.

The director of COMSIT stated that the idea of online registration is to make things easier for the candidates as they can register with comfort because they do not have to go to banks to pay physically

He also enjoined all candidates to come to the examination centre with the photocopy of their jamb, payment and schedule  slips, and make sure they read the instructions carefully in-order to avoid problems.

Professor Adimula then thanked the candidates for their interest in the University of Ilorin as the University has built a reputation over the years and is making sure every year it comes out better.

In a chart with one of the candidates, Adepoju Abiodun he commended the University authority for the innovation of C.B.T as it makes the screening easier for the candidates.

Another candidate Abolarin Samuel said he choose University of Ilorin as his preferred institution because the institution has the best and most conducive environment for learning.
