Emir of Ilorin departs for Makurdi tomorrow

The Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, will tomorrow depart Ilorin to Makurdi, the Benue state capital to attend the ?forthcoming convocation ceremonies of the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi.

At the event, Alhaji Sulu-Gambari who is also the Chairman of the Kwara State Traditional Council would be officially installed as the Chancellor of the University after which he will also receive the Honourary Doctor of Science ( Honoris Causa) of the University.

On the entourage of the Emir are traditional rulers from both within and outside the state, Islamic scholars, Traditional chiefs in the Ilorin Emirate, notable academicians as well as representatives of unions and associations in the state.
