C&S Cleric Predicts Buhari Will Surprise Nigerians in 2016

The Spiritual Head of Cherubim and Seraphim Movement, worldwide, Most Reverend (Dr) Samuel Abidoye has predicted that the present administration of ?President Muhammadu Buhari will perform creditably well in the year 2016 and surprise Nigerians with improved and better government. He therefore urged the stakeholders to be patient with him now.

Abidoye who gave the prediction yesterday in Galilee land along Ogbomosho-Ilorin expressway ?while declaring open the 75th Annual Conference of the church said the rots of previous administrations that president Buhari needs to clear has made it imperative for Nigerians to be very patient with him to enable him make the desired change he promised.

"Nigerians should expect incredibly good performance from President Buhari in 2016. People will be surprised by the progress he will make so, Nigerians should be very patient with him now. People should always remember that he had been there before so, he knows what to do at the right time to make the desired change he promised".

"The past administrations which ?hurried in their governments, we knew where they left us so this time around, I plead with Nigerians to be very patient with Buhari. He will need to clear these mess before he can do anything tangible; he has not spent up to a year so we should be patient and stop criticising him"he said.

Abidoye recalled that the composition of the current ministerial list of people he believed in was strictly done by the president alone as he rejected the tradition of sending lists by the governors, a development he said was borne out of experience and his preparedness to move the country forward.

He also called on various religious leaders and groups to intensify prayers for the progress of Nigeria, stressing that people have not stopped praying and that it was the prayers of Nigerians that brought the country to this stage of hopefulness.

Speaking on the protracted problem of insurgency, Abidoye said that only divine intervention can solve the problem. According to him,"Only divine intervention can save Nigeria from all these security problems.' He therefore asked christian religious leaders in the country to come together and establish special prayers for peace to return to Nigeria.

'We have no other country other than Nigeria, we should all join hands with the federal government in its effort to restore peace to Nigeria'. He also announced that an arrangement for the establishment of Moses Orimolade University at Omu Aran in Kwara state by all Cherubim and Seraphim Churches has been completed. He therefore urged all members of the church to support the project.
