Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Kwara State Chapter,Alhaji Ishola Balogun-Fulani, yesterday declared that there were no abnormalities or any case of forgery in the rules of the National Assembly that led to the emergence of the Senate President, Bukola Saraki and his Deputy Senator Ike Ekweremadu.

He added that the duo of Saraki and Ekweremadu emerged in accordance with section 60 of the nation's constitution as well as the proclamation of President Muhammadu Buhari to the Clerk of the National Assembly and other Senators.

The APC chieftain disclosed this in Ilorin the Kwara State capital while featuring on Playing Host, a Radio Kwara personality interview programme as monitored by Nigerian Pilot.

The activities of the Senate Balogun Fulani said is exclusive to the Senators and expressed worry that outsiders were interfering with the activities of the Upper chambers and therefore appealed to Senators not to allow outside forces to override their legislative functions or overheat the polity so as to quickly move the nation forward.

He further described the relationship between President Buhari and Senator Saraki as being cordial and cautioned rumour mongers toguide against spreading unpleasant remarks about the present leadership of the country.

"President Buhari and Senator Saraki as Nigerians who have the interest of the country, the party and the Nigerian masses dear to their to hearts.

"State chapter of APC is in support of the ongoing investigation of corrupt Nigerians in the country and other corrupt agencies", stressing that the present administration has zero tolerance for corruption as promised Nigerians during the campaign and urged the citizens to support President Buhari in fighting the war against corruption.

The APC chairman however described as untrue that Senator Saraki was interfering with the day to day running of the administration of Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed explaining that the governor was not only in control of the governance of the State but also has the full support of the party leadership as there is proper synergy between the executive, legislative and the party in the state.
