The Struggle Continues - Akogun Oyedepo

Date: 2015-04-14

Same old story and same old result. That is the result of the just concluded gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections in Kwara State.

That election produced no winner or champion in the true sense of Kwara situation. Only an outcome that deliver freedom for the long oppressed people of Kwara is the winner in our situation.

I have always been of the view that winning an election is not the issue but rather an outcome that can change our situation. The victory we have is like that of a man who buys a trophy without running a race.

Let me however congratulate all those that made it in the elections and urge them to be on the side of the people even for once.

PDP members should rather not be worry but that those of us that can hold our stomachs should stay to make sure that the struggle continues as there should be no retreat or surrender.

Together we shall create a platform for the liberation of this state.

Well done all. Akogun Oyedepo is the Kwara State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party.
