Two suspects, Folorunsho Abdulmalik and Abdulrasheed Garuba, were yesterday remanded in prison by a Magistrate's Court in Ilorin, Kwara State, for allegedly killing one Abubakar Ismaila.

The case was transferred from 'B' Division, Ilorin, to the Department of Criminal Investigation and Intelligence. It was gathered that on February 15, a police patrol team led by Supol Lar Emmanuel, received a call that some hoodlums were shooting sporadically along Agbo-Oba area in Ilorin.

On arrival of the team at the scene, they met 27- year-old Abubakar Ismail in a pool of his blood and rushed him to a hospital where he was confirmed dead.

The prosecution said police investigation revealed that Folorunsho Abdulmalik a.k.a Vulture and Abdulsalam Garuba a.k.a Kiwi and others at large conspired together and shot the deceased to death because he was a member of a rival cult.
