INEC Distributes 711, 920 Permanent Voters' Cards in Kwara

Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Kwara State says it has distributed 711, 920 permanent voters' cards out of 1,032, 970 received from the national headquarters of the commission.

It said that the figure represents 69 per cent of the total PVCs collected.

Resident Electoral Commissioner, Dr. Emmanuel Onucheyo, disclosed this at a stakeholders' meeting in Ilorin on Thursday.

According to him, "The cards of those who participated in the continuous voters' registration are being processed".

The stakeholders' session was attended by representatives of political parties, security agencies, labour unions, among other stakeholders.
