Kwara PDP Chairman laments over inconclusive governorship primaries

The Chairman of the Kwara State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, lyiola Oyedepo, has described as unfortunate, the inconclusive governorship primaries conducted by the party in the state.

Oyedepo however pledged that the party would fix a new date soon to select its flag bearer for the 2015 election.

He said in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria in llorin on Tuesday that he would consult with stakeholders in the state and at Abuja to address the problems that arose during the election.

The chairman advised members of the party to remain calm, assuring them that an acceptable solution would be reached on the issue.

NAN recalls that that the primaries ended in deadlock soon after the accreditation of delegates, due to some disagreements between them.
