The Corps Marshal and Chief Executive of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Boboye Oyeyemi, has restated his commitment to the restoration of the integrity and confidence in the use of driver's licence.

Oyeyemi gave the assurance while speaking at the commissioning of the National Driver's Licence Centre, Offa in Kwara State.

According to him, though there have been challenges in the implementation of the National Uniform Licensing Scheme, which was launched in 1990, FRSC is committed to ensuring its success, and every effort is being made to restore the integrity of the licences and public confidence in the system.

"We are conscious of the increase in demand by driver's licence by applicants who want to follow due process to obtain genuine ones instead of patronising the touts, and the challenges they face at the licensing offices.
