This time Kwara has lost an epitome of cultural heritage and embodiment of traditional values which have been elevating Kwara state for decades.The departure of Alhaji Usman is an unexpected occurrence that will greatly be felt not only in Ilesha/Baruba but Kwara at large; the late Emir was a diligent and fair man who is highly interested the justice and progress of the people.

I stand by the people of Baruteen LG and the Royal Fathers across Kwara state; I urge us all to pray for the people of Baruteen this period, in order to help them uphold the cultural, religious and moral background established by the Late Emir.

On behalf of myself and family, I sympathize with the people of Baruteen and Kwarans at large. I pray God uphold the royal family and give us all the strength to bear the loss.
