Kwara Varsity Seeks Stakeholders' Support on Entrepreneurship Education

Date: 2014-08-21

The Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete Moro, said it was collaborating with the state government to introduce entrepreneurship education in all post-primary schools in the state and sought the support of stakeholders to make the venture succeed.

Vice-Chancellor of the institution, Professor AbdulRasheed Na'Allah, said this at a news briefing in Ilorin, the state capital yesterday while announcing the commencement of the school's degree programme in entrepreneurship education.

He said the collaboration became imperative given the need to make the state a foremost destination in the field in Nigeria.

Part of the school's drive towards achieving the goal, according to Na'Allah is the free distribution of a book on entrepreneurship education, edited by the school's Dean of Business and Governance, Dr. Muritala Awodun, to all secondary school students in the state.
