A group, PDP Youth Frontier, has applauded the nomination of Dr Abubakar Olanrewaju Suleiman as minister representing Kwara State, describing the development as the best decision taken by President Goodluck Jonathan.

A statement by the publicity secretary of PDPYF, Comrade Mukhtar Akoshile, said Kwarans have been yearning for change in the politics of the state noting that this time the fight has been spearheaded by the youth.

The group said by appointing Dr Suleiman, the President has shown he is yielding to the wishes of the teeming youth of Kwara in particular and Nigeria in general.

"Dr. Suleiman is an academic worth his salt. He is a political scientist of note and a technocrat of high intellectual regard. He, to the PDP Youth, is one that challenges conventions and aspire for a better society. He belongs to the generations of Nigerians who strive for change even at great personal cost and inconveniences. The University Don is no doubt one that Kwarans need now to be their face at the Federal level and encourage the youth to challenge the expired dynasty of the sarakite," the group stated.

The PDP youth frontier vow to eject APC out of Kwara in 2015 saying it has resolved to make kwara a PDP state.
