QuickWin: Kwara to Releas Additional 1,000 Forms for Jobs
As the Kwara State Government finalises the 5,400 youth jobs it plans to provide next month, an additional 1,000 forms have been made available online for graduate youths.
Chairman of the QuickWin Implementation Committee in the state, Alhaji Isiaka Gold, who announced the additional jobs, said the online forms are targeted at holders of National Certificate of Education (NCE) and above.
Gold, who is also the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) said, "those with school leaving certificate and below are already being accommodated in the first phase of the scheme."
He described the response to the initial 5400 forms distributed at the 193 wards in the state as enthusiastic and assured those yet to secure the forms that a total of 8,200 youths would be engaged by this year under the Quickwin Scheme.
He stressed that an additional 200 youths would be engaged monthly once the initial 5,400 are fully engaged under the QuickWin intervention.
Gold however assured the unemployed youths in the state that government would continue to rise to their needs so as to reduce unemployment.
