FRSC urges driving schools to upgrade equipment
The Kwara State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Mrs Mary Wakawa, has called on all private driving schools to upgrade their equipment in a bid to ensure effective training.
Wakawa, who made the call while speaking at Beta Confidence Driving School in Ilorin, commended the school for introducing brand new simulator for practical training in state.
She said the FRSC would continue to monitor and supervise all driving schools in the state with a view to reducing road crashes in the state and Nigeria at large.
She advised Nigerians to always attend driving school before driving on the road, saying this would eventually curb high rate of road crashes.
Royal Times correspondent reports that other vehicle management members at the occasion were Vehicle Inspection Office (VIO), Kwara State Road Traffic Management Authority (KWARTMA), and National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW).
