Opinion - Saraki: A youth friendly leader - Chukwuemeka
The Proprietor of ABS FC, Senator Abubakar Bukola Saraki (CON) has been described as a visionary and youth friendly leader who has the future of his people at heart.
The General Manager of ABS FC, Alloy Chukwuemeka, which is one of the youth development avenues for Saraki stated this in Ilorin while speaking with journalists shortly after attending a one-day Technical Youth Summit for the unemployed youths in Kwara state, which was organized by the Constituency Office of the Senator.
Chukwuemeka, who is also the Acting Secretary of the Club Owners Association in Nigeria said that Saraki's love for the future of the youths cannot be over-emphasised, considering his numerous establishments across board, aimed at developing the capacity of the youths, as well as providing employment opportunities.
Chukwuemeka particularly mentioned ABS FC, Kwara Football Academy, Shonga Farm project, Aviation College, Kwara State University among such entities conceived by Saraki.
According to him, 'today's programme is such that it re-emphasises Saraki's genuine love to continually work for the overall development of the youths'
'He is such a youth friendly leader who believes that building the youth translates to building the nation, and if you look at all the establishments he has put in place, they are all aimed at increasing the capacity of the youths and providing employment.'
'Look at ABS FC for instance, look at Kwara Football Academy...and lots of others. They are all strategically set up to cater for youth development viz-a-viz their multiplier effect on the society'.
It would be recalled that Saraki, who is representing Kwara Central senatorial district at the Upper Chambers of the National Assembly had at the occasion call for a state of emergency on unemployment.
