The Deputy Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Kwara State, Mallam Yinka Aluko, has commiserated with the families of those who lost their loved ones in an auto crash which occurred during the campaign tour of the All Progressive Congress, APC,along Oke-Oyi in the Ilorin east local government of the state.

Aluko who condemned reckless driving among APC supporters stressed that the leadership of the party has showed yet another act of insensitivity to the lives of Kwarans.

The party chieftain in his condolence message to the family of the deceased noted that gone are those days when campaign was characterized with crises and thuggery ?adding that enlightenment and address of issues are the salient recipe for healthy campaign in the current dispensation.

He however warned youths to resist all temptations that could allow them to be used by political jobbers as hoodlums before and during the forthcoming elections. Aluko therefore assured Kwarans of the total commitment of the incoming PDP government to ?the protection of the lives and property of the entire citizenry.

?Similarly, the President General of Orisun Igbomina, Chief Gbenga Awoyale, in a statement issued in Ilorin described the auto crash which claimed lives of innocent Kwarans on the convoy of the APC campaign train as quite unfortunate and condemnable.

He therefore ?prayed God to give their families to bear the irreparable loss even as he warned the APC led government to take the protection of the lives of citizens as most important.
