Abubakar Bukola Saraki, ABS as popularly called by his numerous supporters and lovers, is a man who represents true democracy with shared experience in all areas of human development and nation building. The true son of the late eminent Dr Olusola Saraki is believed to have inherited the antics of human capacity building and development from his late father and has transformed such to a standard that resonates with the frequency of the contemporary Nigerian politics.

A brief look into history would remind us of a bulk of challenging situations, which Dr. Bukola Saraki met in office, in 2003; and of his courage to have offered himself as a vehicle for the emancipation of Kwara people. It reminds us of how he converted these challenges to opportunities for Kwarans by a display of his exceptional endowments in the spirit of true democracy and people-oriented governance. To applaud his administration as the best in the history of Kwara governance is an understatement, the bulk of both physical and human developments projects executed by his administration speaks volumes of his transformation potentials and of his true representation of democracy in Nigeria.

The intention here is not to showcase Senator Bukola Saraki's but to reaffirm our position in accessing and accepting him as a true political leader and a principled democrat with the vision to have implemented policies and programs that utilize the wide horizons of accelerated development opportunities which globalization has opened for a developing country like Nigeria. Here is a man who, out of his versed national and international experiences, has demonstrated his vibrancy by programming a better future for generations in Kwara with a foundation on a type of leadership that is anchored on competence, passion, selfless services and vision with time-specific deliverables. His administration's policies on rapid industrialization and sustainable agricultural development created a solid economic base for Kwara state and these gives accurate definitions to part of people expectations of good governance. By evolving a system of government that encourages entrepreneurship and spreads social economic re-engineering through job creation, provision of infrastructural facilities that meet international standards; as well as, human capacity development, Dr. Bukola Saraki's administration made adequate provisions of solutions that are capable of handling the needs of the people and on which a solid foundation for true continuity of good governance was built.

As a senator, Dr.Bukola Saraki came up with establishment of the Constituency office in the Kwara Central Senatorial District with transformation policies and programs that cut across all areas of state and human development.

The Rural Roads Rehabilitation program was designed on a solid scope to open up new roads in the rural settlements, rehabilitate the existing but impassible ones, especially the ones that serve as alternative routes to busy major roads. It is also to redesign road interconnectivity within rural settlement, in view of the fast growing population in these areas, so as to enable proper planning before the settlements become populated to congestion, a futuristic mitigating measure against situations that could make planning of settlements a difficult task for the government in years to come.  Between the months of February and June, 2013; more than 100km of rural roads have been successfully rehabilitated and fully completed within the constituency. This exercise was carried out with scopes and designs to prepare the earth roads for future construction activities. This serves as a developmental database to enhance the pre-construction plans of the state government in future road construction and rehabilitation activities.

The constituency office unfolded its programs on erosion control with a plan to complement the on-going drainage de-silting exercise to allow for free flow of water within the metropolis. This exercise is targeted at preparation for the globally forecasted flood problem for the year 2013. Reports from the Directorate of project of the Constituency office shows that technical investigations have been carried out on erosion pathways in the metropolis and it has been verified that part of many reasons why flood affects some residential locations is the situation of settlements on flood plains and ineffectiveness of drainage systems in discharging water to appropriate discharge points due to blockage by debris and domestic wastes. This exercise is designed to be complemented with a sensitization program on proper waste disposal and management in that most of the observed drainage blockade within the Ilorin city are the outcome of peoples attitude towards waste management and disposal. All the major Rivers and streams within the metropolis have been identified with their strength for storm water run-offs and all drainages have equally been navigated to the respective rivers. Removal of all blockades on the drainage pathways will therefore ease water flow to respective discharge point and this has been programmed as a preparatory measure against the possibility of flood outbreak in the state, this year.

Other programs of the constituency office include Rehabilitation of Primary Health Centers,  Kwara Central Irrigation Farming Project in some locations within the Senatorial District, Community Health and Environmental Sanitation Project which involves evacuation of refuse dumps within the District, Rural Communities Water Project which includes Provision of solar powered, motorized and Hand Pump boreholes, Constituency Electrification Project through provision and installation of power transformer for adequate distribution of electricity within the District and beyond; as well as scholarship and other Education Endowment Programs.
