"Mama Magaji was a success story" - Belgore
"Mama was an illustrious woman. She was a leader and a social and political activist," Belgore wrote on Monday night in the condolence register at the Bourdillon (Ikoyi) residence of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
"She mobilised traders and market women for the right causes and when it mattered most. She gave her self to the community and was highly distinguished and successful in her own right. She was a huge success story.
"Mama has ended her service here on earth. May the Almighty receive her soul and be as kind and caring to her as she was to many in her lifetime."
Belgore, who was Kwara ACN governorship candidate in 2011, also commiserated with the ACN leader and other family members and associate of the late market leader who died on Saturday in Lagos.
"Our enduring joy is that Mama left an enviable legacy of service to humanity," he added.
