Mogaji Olosho Babaita calls on the Federal Government and ASUU to return to negotiation table

Date: 2009-08-14

The Mogaji Olosho Babaita in Ilorin West local government area of Kwara state, Alhaji Shehu Babaita, has called on both the Federal Government and striking Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, members to return to the negotiation table. According to him, the present situation could result in students being used for unholy acts.

The community leader however urged all tiers of government to continue to see the plight and welfare of the citizenry as paramount and ensure that the electorate enjoys the dividends of democracy. The Olosho Babata also praised the cordial relationship existing between the legislators and the executive arm of government in the state.
