Omolewa Ahmed Mourns Shobalaje Eleran's Death

Wife of the Kwara State governor, Mrs. Omolewa Ahmed, has joined other Kwarans in mourning a prominent indigene of the state, Alhaja Shobalaje Eleran, who died recently.

Mrs. Ahmed speaking through a delegation led by wife of the deputy governor, Mrs. Felicia Kisira, extolled the virtues of the deceased, describing her as a prominent woman who contributed immensely to the development and welfare of her people and community and prayed God to grant her soul eternal rest.

Welcoming the delegates to the family house of the deceased, the Magaji of Babaita Compound, Alhaji Sheu Babata, thanked the governor's wife for taking out time and coming to condole the family even as he appreciated her for the gifts given to support the family in their time of grief.

Speaking further, the Magaji praised the programmes and projects initiated by Mrs. Ahmed aimed at promoting the welfare of the people and implored her to always remember the Eleran family, particularly now that the matriach is no more.

Alhaja Shobalaje died on Saturday, May 4th, and has since been buried in accordance with Islamic rites.
