Ahmed visits murdered CP's family in Enugu

Governor of Kwara State, Alhaji Fatai Ahmed on Thursday paid a condolence visit to the family of slain Kwara State commissioner of police, Mr. Chinweike Asadu at his Amorji Nike rersidence in Enugu.

The Governor, who spent about 30 minutes with the late officer's family wrote in the condolence register, thus: "You indeed lived a fulfilled life.You have left indellible mark of sweetness in the hearts of all,we love you, but God loves you most. May God in his infinite mercy, grant you eternal peace. May he strengthen the family to bear the loss".

He pledged on behalf of the government and people of Kwara State to play active role in the funeral ceremonies of the late commissioner of police. Although, Governor Ahmed could not talk to the press, one of his aides in his entourage, Waheed Oba disclosed that the Governor was seriously touched by the death of the police commissioner.
