Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has joined family, friends, associates and members of the Tijaniyyah community to celebrate the 77th birthday of the Grand Khalifa of Tijaniyyah in Lagos State, Sheikh Ameenullah Abd' Salaam Alabi Akoshile.

Sheikh Akoshile, who served as Chief Protocol Officer to the late General Tunde Idiagbon, is a retired Director of the Federal Civil Service, a member of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs and the Amir Musulumi of Oro Land in Kwara State.

Governor AbdulRazaq commended the Grand Khalifa for his spiritual leadership, commitment to peace and development, and continued guidance to millions of people on matters of faith.

The governor prayed to Allah to grant Sheikh Akoshile long life, good health and an honourable ending.
