Senator Mustapha made the statement during his visit to Ilorin ahead of the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations, where he was received by supporters and members of the APC.
He later visited the palace of the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, to pay homage in line with festive tradition.
Addressing journalists, Mustapha expressed appreciation for the warm reception from residents and supporters, describing it as a "reflection of the goodwill and support of the people of Kwara State."
He stated that the APC remains well positioned in the country's political landscape due to its support base and continued engagement with the people.
The senator also urged residents to sustain peaceful coexistence and use the Eid-el-Kabir celebration to promote unity, sacrifice, and mutual understanding among citizens.
He said: "I see great prospects for the party as we continue to support the good work already started by both the state and federal governments, especially under the Renewed Hope Agenda of Mr. President."
He also thanked his constituents for the overwhelming show of affection, noting that the gesture deeply moved him.
"The love I have been shown by the people of Kwara is beyond what words can express. It is something I feel deeply within me. May Allah continue to bless our community and Kwara State," he added.
