Gov AbdulRazaq Mourns Kwara APC Elder Chief GG Jaiyeola

Date: 2026-04-01

Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, is saddened by the death of Chief Ganiyu Gboyega Jaiyeola, the Amuludun of Offa and a prominent All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain in the state.

The Governor says the late Jaiyeola was a great statesman, an educator, and an administrator who excelled at the highest level of the state's civil service.

"We will miss his wise counsel, powerful oratory, and deep sense of history. His legacy will endure as that of a respected elder, a repository of political history, and a forthright leader," he says.

The Governor commiserates with the Olofa of Offa, Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi Esuwoye, the family of Baba Jaiyeola, and the entire APC community in Offa and Kwara State.

He prays that Allah grants him Al-Jannah Firdaus and preserves his family in goodness.
