Awodun Reaffirms Commitment to Kwara South Youths, Donates Office Equipment for KWAYORG Secretariat
Prof. Muritala Awodun has reaffirmed his commitment to youth empowerment and institutional development in Kwara South with his support for the Kwara South Youth Development Organisation (KWAYORG), ahead of the inauguration and operational take-off of its National Secretariat.
As part of this support, Prof. Awodun donated essential office equipment to enhance the functionality of the Secretariat.
The items include a desktop computer set, an office table, an office chair, and two visitors' chairs.
Commending the leadership and members of KWAYORG, Prof. Awodun described the organisation as a credible platform for advancing youth empowerment, community development, and sustainable institutional growth across Kwara South. He expressed confidence that the National Secretariat would serve as a hub for coordination, innovation, and impactful youth-driven initiatives.
He noted that the donation was intended to strengthen the organisation's operational capacity and support the effective delivery of its mandate to the youths of Kwara South.
The items were delivered today by Mr. Ibrahim Saliu, representative of Prof. Muritala Awodun, and received on behalf of KWAYORG by the Director for Community Development, Mr. Obafemi Opeyemi Isaac.
In his response, Mr. Obafemi expressed deep appreciation to Prof. Awodun for the timely support, describing it as a significant encouragement to the organisation's vision. He assured that the donated items would be judiciously deployed to advance the goals of KWAYORG and enhance its service to youths across Kwara South.
