Kwara Coding Students Commence Final Preparations for October Project Exhibition
The Kwara Coding and Digital Literacy Programme has now moved into its most critical phase, with learning centres across the state initiating intense final preparations for the highly anticipated Project Exhibition scheduled for this October.
Classes resumed on September 22nd, marking a surge of momentum that has been further energised by the programme's recent national recognition. This renewed focus was channeled directly into refining student projects last week, as both students and instructors collaborated closely to polish their various digital solutions for the forthcoming showcase.
Across all the learning centres, last week's sessions were dedicated entirely to the final stages of project development. Instructors have now fully transitioned into a mentorship role, providing practical, hands on guidance to help students correct errors in their code, improve their user interfaces, and perfect their presentation skills for the audience. This coordinated effort is aimed at ensuring that all the innovative concepts developed by the students are transformed into exhibition ready prototypes.
Crucially, the programme's integrated schedule continues to operate smoothly alongside the regular academic calendar. This arrangement provides a stable and productive environment that allows the students to effectively balance their schoolwork with their technological ambitions.
The current drive builds upon the programme's foundational achievements, including the recent success of Kwara students at the National Kids Innovation Challenge in Lagos. As noted by the Special Assistant to the Governor on Digital Innovations, Hon. Ishola Kayode, these accomplishments highlight the students' remarkable ability to identify local challenges and develop effective digital solutions.
The Kwara Coding & Digital Literacy Programme, a cornerstone of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq's administration, continues to empower the state's youth with future-ready skills in problem-solving, creativity, and technical innovation. All attention is now focused on the October exhibition, where these young innovators will present their work, marking a significant milestone in the state's investment in human capital development.
