Kwara United Deny Rift in Technical Crew Ahead of Plateau United Clash
Kwara United have dismissed reports of discord within their technical department, reaffirming unity and focus ahead of their rescheduled Matchday 5 fixture against Plateau United.
Rumours of internal tension emerged following the team's elimination from the CAF Confederation Cup, with speculation suggesting unrest among the coaching crew.
However, the club has firmly rebuffed such claims, insisting that the technical staff remains fully aligned and committed to turning their domestic campaign around.
In a brief statement, the club affirmed that all members of the backroom team are working cohesively to deliver positive results as the Nigeria Premier Football League season progresses.
The Harmony Boys are set to host Plateau United at the Rashidi Yekini Stadium in Ilorin on Thursday, in what promises to be a crucial match for morale and league standing.
"The coaches remain resolute and fully focused on winning their upcoming home matches against Plateau United on Thursday and Abia Warriors on Sunday as well as sustaining the momentum in subsequent fixtures," Kwara United stated through their media department.
Kwara United occupy 16th position on the league table with four points.
