This initiative forms part of the governor's IseNtesiwaju rural-urban development strategy, which prioritises reconstructing and modernising key infrastructure to boost economic activity and connectivity.

The Post Office-Emirs Road-Isale Oja corridor, a lifeline for traders and commuters, will see enhanced vehicular movement and improved access to Ilorin's iconic Oja Oba Market, a cornerstone of the local economy.

The project aims to alleviate traffic congestion, streamline commercial operations, and revitalise Ilorin's economic heartbeat by creating a safer, more efficient transport network.

In the last five years, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has invested hugely in the state's infrastructure, including road construction, recognising its critical role in economic growth and development.

As they lauded him for the completed roads and the ones undergoing a transformation under his administration's rural-urban renewal initiative, well-meaning Kwarans have been commending Governor AbdulRazaq for the ongoing upgrade of Post Office - Emirs Road - Isale Oja Road.
