Saliu Mustapha Praises Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq's Rural Road Initiative to Boost Agriculture

The lawmaker representing Kwara Central at the Nigerian Senate, Saliu Mustapha, has praised Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for initiating the construction, rehabilitation, and upgrade of 209.77 km of rural roads across the state.

The commendation was made in a statement by Mustapha, who also chairs the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Production Services, and Rural Development.

Speaking after attending the flag-off ceremony of the project under the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP), the senator highlighted that the initiative would significantly improve rural infrastructure and foster agricultural development in Kwara State.

“I commend Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his commitment to enhancing the state's infrastructure and for prioritizing the needs of our rural communities,” the lawmaker said.

Project to Foster Economic Growth

The Senator also noted that the project promises to foster economic growth and improve the quality of life of people in the State as well as create access to markets for the farmers.

“This project will not only facilitate easier access to markets for our farmers but also foster economic growth and improve the overall quality of life for residents,” he said.

The Lawmaker however, expressed his optimism in the positive impact of the project, saying that ,“Together, we are making strides toward a more prosperous and connected Kwara State. I look forward to seeing the positive impact this project will have on our state.”
