Kwara United and Rivers United in Draw as Woodwork Saves the Day
According to news report from Daily Post, In a rescheduled Nigeria Premier Football League matchday 23 showdown in Ilorin on Thursday, Kwara United and Rivers United settled for a draw, with neither team managing to clinch victory.
Despite the dominant performance by hosts Kwara United, luck evaded them in finding the net, with Kabiru Dogo's squad hitting the woodwork on four occasions.
However, this stalemate did little to improve their standings, as both teams remain entrenched in the relegation battle, tied at 40 points each and trailing three points behind the drop zone. Looking ahead, Rivers United will redirect their focus to their forthcoming clash against Sunshine Stars in Akure on Sunday.
