Fatima said, “That is all I know. The pain was unbearable, but I am getting better. Oluwabukola, who is on admission at the Il?rin General Hospital, told City & Crime that the situation was better imagined.
The fresh graduate of the Kwara State Polytechnic whose head was wrapped in bandage, said, “The tree hit me on the head as it fell. I just can't thank God enough that I am still alive. The pain was unbearable, but I am getting better.”
A market woman, Hanifa Dawudu, said, “I was hit by the tree on the waist and back before I fell down. It would have been another story if another branch fell on us.”
