AATSG Appoints Dapo Akanbi Patron For Kwara South Senatorial District

The Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu Support Group, AATSG, has appointed Dapo Akanbi as its Patron for Kwara South senatorial District of Kwara State.

His appointment was announced in a release signed by the national chairman of the organisation, Otunba Abayomi Odunowo and the national organising secretary, Alhaji Habu Moisoro.

According to the statement, Akanbi was chosen to be the patron for the Kwara south senatorial District of the Group because of his wealth of experience in management.

The statement urged the new patron to see the honour as a call to service to ensure the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu becomes the next president of Nigeria.

The statement reads in part, ” AATSG has appointed Dapo Akanbi as our patron for Kwara south senatorial District in Kwara state. This appointment is a call to service.

The National Vice Chairman of North Central Prince Ayodeji Adedoyin, the Zonal Ambassador Alhaja Olubukola Kifayat Adedeji while receiving brief of this nominee from the Suleiman Jamiu Alate AATSG Kwara State Chairman and Mrs Adeoti GM AATSG Kwara State Woman Leader said Akanbi is the most suitable candidate for the district and we believe his appointment will further strengthen our organisation in the area.

“Our primary objective as a group is to ensure we mobilise enough Nigerians to vote for Asiwaju Tinubu as the next president of Nigeria by the special grace of God.”

The new patron, Dapo Akanbi is the Managing Director Telepro Consulting Services Limited, Kale & Nibs Limited and Managing Partner of Paragon Resource Agency UK.

As a seasoned Telecommunications and IT professional, he is a self-motivated, well organized, dedicated professional and a valuable member of the Nigeria ICT world.

A passionate leader and Team player, he thrives in fast paced, dynamic and multi-tasking environments. He is a service oriented professional, with progressive mind, experience and an excellent ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.

Dapo is a multi-skilled RF Engineer with over 18 years' experience and strong skills in Radio Network Planning, Installation, Tuning & Optimization, System Administration and Networking coupled with vast experience in Technical Project Management.

The new patron started his career as an IT under graduate trainee with Nigerian Telecommunications Limited (NITEL) and Intercellular Nigeria Plc, He has worked on, manage and deliver multi-million-dollar projects across different verticals and sectors within the Middle East (UAE), Asia (India) and Sub-Sahara Africa (Nigeria, Tanzania, Kenya, Ethiopia, Niger, Republic of Benin, Togo, Ghana, Democratic Republic of Congo, South Africa and Burkina Faso).

Dapo holds a Post graduate Diploma in Radio Frequency Engineering from School of Telecoms Leadership, Hyderabad-India, an Integrated Diploma in Advance Wireless Communications from Convergence International Research Centre Hyderabad-India, Technical Training Certification on GSM, WCDMA & RF from BSNL Regional Telecom Training Centre Gachi-bowli-India, Diploma in RF Engineering in CDMA, GSM & 3G Technologies, Professional Technical Training certificate in 3G Installation, Integration & Commissioning, Training Certificate in Quality & Audit from ZTE University Bangalore-India, a Diploma in Leadership & Technical Project Management from Engineering Staff College of India Gachi-Bowli India,
