Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has assured the people of Kwara State of his determination towards leaving the State far better than it was on his assumption of office.
The Governor gave this assurance while receiving the leadership of Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU), the umbrella sociocultural organisation of the people of Ilorin Emirate, led by its National President, Alhaji Aliyu Otta Uthman, fsi, which paid him a courtesy visit at his office on Monday.
Mallam AbdulRazaq said that his administration was determined more than ever before to ensure the all-round transformation of the State capital and the entire State, adding that the support and advice of the IEDPU in that regard would always be appreciated.
The Governor, who commended the Union for embarking on the construction of a Skills Acquisition Hub in Ilorin, promised his support towards the completion of the project, which will be for the benefit of all Kwarans in particular and Nigerians at large.

Speaking earlier, the IEDPU President congratulated Mallam AbdulRazaq on his assumption of his second term in office as the Governor of Kwara State as well as on his emergence as the Chairman of the influential Nigerian Governors Forum (NGF).
Alhaji Uthman, who said that the Union was with the Governor to brief him on the progress attained in the construction of the Skills Acquisition Hub and other important community matters, expressed the conviction of the Union that the two positions would give him more opportunities at lifting the State higher in all facets of human development.
The President thanked the Governor for his support to the Union before and since his emergence as the Chief Executive of the State, saying that Mallam AbdulRazaq has been giving the Union listening hears.
