Post Election: Kwara State APC Invalidates All Suspensions
The Kwara State Chapter of the All Progressive Congress, APC, says it has nullified all suspensions made in the state after the general and state elections.
This decision was taken in an emergency meeting organized by the State Executive Members of the ruling party APC.
The state APC warned party excos at wards and local government levels to stop further suspension of party members forthwith, while all decisions taken after election remained null and void and be quashed immediately.
The State excos further explained that their decision was premised on the fact that the party needs consolidation more than confrontation at a time when kwarans are looking forward to the Governor elect for more dividends of democracy.
Furtherance to this decision, it announced that a committee will soon be set up to meet all parties involved for amicable settlement.
The party also congratulated the Governor and all elected members of the party in the last general elections and urged them to be more focussed and determined.
