KWARA STATE GOVERNMENT DISBURSE FREE RESULT SCRATCH CARD TO STUDENTS

Date: 2019-09-12

The Kwara State government under the leadership of AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has released *free* scratch cards for students to check their results.

This was made known by the Permanent Secretary of Kwara State Ministry of Education Hajia Mariam Garba during a radio programme this morning.

She urged parents to contact the ministry of education to report any school principal trying to extort parents to pay unapproved fees and levies. She added that only English and Mathematics text books are made compulsory for students in JSS one and SSS one.

"The textbooks are compulsory because most parents don't buy textbooks for their wards which is making it difficult for students to pass the compulsory subjects" she said.

This laudable development is one of the efforts of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq to make education affordable for the people.
