APC pledges unalloyed support for Kwara Governor

Date: 2019-09-01

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State has reassured the state governor, AbdulRahman Abdulrazaq of the total support and commitment of the party leadership in his drive to implement policies and programmes that will transform Kwara into an Eldorado state.

This is contained in the resolution reached at the end of an emergency meeting held at the instance of the State Chairman, Alhaji Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa.

Alhaji Bolarinwa, said the governor has done well in less than one hundred days in office as observed across all sectors in Kwara State.

He noted that the giant strides in education, health, human capital development and political reorientation attest to the dawn of a new era popularly heralded by the overwhelming support of the people during the last elections.

The meeting called on party members and the entire Kwarans to continue to queue behind the governor and offer him all the support he requires.

The state executive committee therefore, reaffirmed its commitment, loyalty and cooperation with the governor who doubles as the leader of the party in the state.

The party however urged the governor to continue to provide all the leadership necessary for the continued unity of the party and enjoined all party members at all levels to disregard all attempts and efforts of fifth columnists to create any disaffection within the party and the state at large.
