She said, "We usually do two outreaches every year during the Children's Day on May 27 and the Independence day to indigent communities. This year we decided to expand as we always have lot of people asking us to come to their communities."

Boyede noted that the Foundation which started as a Facebook group decided to go beyond giving medical advice to parents online to reach out to those who may not be able to access Paediatricians services in their community.

The medical outreach held in Ikorodu, Lagos State on September 29, Abeokuta, Ogun State on October 1, Umuorji, Abia State on October 1 and Oro, Kwara State on October 1 featured health talks, mass de-worming of all the children, medical consultation, among others.

The Medical Outreach Coordinator for the Foundation, Dr Rotimi Adesanya said the outreach which has been held on yearly basis this since October 2016 October had its first event at Makoko. "This is our first time of doing multiple Outreaches in five Communities. We didn't stop with the children alone, we also did labouratory tests for Malaria, HIV, Hepatitis and gave free drugs to the people.

"For cases that require further treatment or follow-up we referred them to the nearest General or Teaching Hospital,' Adesanya said.
