'Why I want to be Kwara gov'

Date: 2018-09-20

Alhaji Ladi Hassan, a former Chief of Staff to Senate President Bukola Saraki, has joined the 2019 governorship race in Kwara State on the PDP platform.

Hassan said his closeness with and understanding of the grassroots will make him succeed as governor.

Speaking with journalists in Ilorin, on Wednesday, when he unfolded his plan of action, Hassan said his educational background and political exposure made him the most competent among all other PDP governorship aspirants for the 2019 general elections.

The governorship hopeful, who said poverty retarded the socio-economic growth of any society, said he planned to tackle the menace with focus on agriculture to ensure food sufficiency and create employment.
