Former CAN Chairman becomes Bishop Bible Faith Evangelical Mission

Pastor David Omorinoye, a former Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria in Irepodun LGA of Kwara, has been ordained as first Bishop of the Bible Faith Evangelical Mission Inc.
Omorinoye, a Senior Pastor of the church, was decorated with the paraphernalia of office as Bishop during a programme held at the church's auditorium in Omu-Aran, Kwara.
The church, also know as Faith Chapel has its headquarters in Omu-Aran.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Omorinoye was last in Nov. 2017 had earlier been proclaimed a Bishop at one of the Church's special session.
He is presently the Chairman of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) Omu-Aran Chapter.
Bishop Chuks Nnaji, the General Overseer, Family of God Charismatic Ministries, while presenting certificate to Omorinoye said his elevation was based on merit and devotion to spiritual duties.
The man of God said that Omorinoye's exceptional qualities and dedication had made him suitable for the exotic spiritual post in the church.
Omorinoye's elevation was based merit based and spiritually divined.
"With the conclusion of this consecration and investiture he becomes the first Presiding Bishop of Bible Faith Evangelical Mission Inc.," he said.
Nnaji in a sermon advised religious leaders to strive to be closer and stick to God in order to become righteous and gain the desired salvation and confidence of their followers
According to him, it is only when a leader recognises God as the alpha and omega that such leader could be spiritually elevated in status and other worldly affairs.
"It is only when you stay with him, stick with him that you receive the desired blessings to become righteous and spiritually inclined," he said.
Omorinoye, in his remark, expressed gratitude to God, the church leaders and the followers for the opportunity given to him to serve in such capacity.
He promised to be more dedicated in lifting the church to a more higher level.
Pastor Atolagbe Joseph, the Church's Secretary, on his part, described Omorinoye's elevation as God's ordained.
"Omorinoye's outstanding performance and sterling qualities spiritually had endeared him to both leaders and the church members," he said.
Present at the consecration event were prominent religious leaders including, Bishop Gbenga Olusoga of Christ Heritage Assembly, Akure and Bishop Israel Lawal of Christand Christian Centre, Ilorin.
Others are Apostle Richard Ige, Covenant LifeWay Church, Bishop Omoboriowo Olanrewaju, Pentecostal Evangelistic Ministry and Bishop Opayinka J.K., Glorious Tabernacle Church, Ondo State. (NAN)
