To reduce the hardship experienced by residents of Ilorin metropolis pending the completion of ongoing water projects in the state, the Kwara State government has unveiled a palliative scheme to provide water to residents. According to management of Kwara State Water Corporation, the Water support service is an expansion of an existing scheme to cover more parts of the metropolis and environs.

According to the corporation, the water support scheme will run for an initial 2 months starting on Wednesday 17th January 2018.

It said the beneficiary communities will be as follows:
