Kwara Speaker lauded over payment of PTA Levy of 263 Indigent Pupils in his Constituency

The Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Dr. Ali Ahmad has been described as a worthy representative, who is genuinely committed towards the wellbeing of his Constituents.

A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress ( APC),in Ilorin South Constituency Alhaji Tunde Kareem, made the observation in Ilorin, during the payment of Parents/ Teachers Association levy of 263 Pupils of Ilorin South LGEA School, Isale Asa, by the Speaker.

Alh Kareem, who expressed delight over the gesture, noted with delight that the Speaker, had touched lives, through his numerous people- oriented programmes and projects in the Constituency.

The Chieftain of the Party, recalled how the Speaker, constructed block of classrooms in the School, expressed confidence, that the singular gesture, would go along way, to fast track the attainment of the pupils' educational pursuits, and enjoined other political office holders to imbibe the virtue of the Speaker, to further enhance the spread of dividends of democracy, in the Country.

In his Remark, the Chairman of APC in Balogun Fulani Ward 3, Alhaji Muyideen Hussein, who praised the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki for ensuring the emergence of a worthy and responsive representative as the Speaker of the House, noted that Dr. Ali Ahmad, had made significant impact on the people of his Constituency.

He expressed confidence that the gesture would go along way, to inspire the pupils towards the attainment of their educational pursuits.

Also speaking, the Councillor representing Balogun Fulani Ward 3 in Ilorin South Local Government Council, Hon. Olorunrinu Suleiman, said the payment of the PTA levy by the Speaker, would go along way, to alleviate the burden of the indigent pupils and enjoined corporate bodies, affluent individuals to complement the efforts of government in providing affordable and qualitative education to the future leaders of the State.

Responding, the Head Mistress of the School, Hajia Mosunmola Alabi, praised the Speaker, for making his impact felt, by the younger generation and assured that the pupils would reciprocate by rededicating themselves to their studies, to justify the huge investment in them.
