Fed Cup: Prime FC head to Ilorin for Heartland

Prime FC of Osogbo will today (Sunday) travel to Ilorin ahead of Wednesday's Federation Cup semi final game against Cup holders, Heartland FC of Owerri.

-The team will leave Osun Sunday morning for Ilorin to go and continue our preparations for Wednesday's game. A Prime FC official told futaa.com

Crunch tie

Wednesday's crunch semi final fixture is billed for the Ilorin Township Stadium, Kwara State with a coveted final ticket up for grabs in the duel.

The Oshogbo darling team are expected to check-in to the classy Bovina Hotel in the Afonja City later today before going ahead to have a feel of the stadium pitch thereafter.

Giant killers

Dubbed the surprise package of the 2012 Federation Cup, Prime FC currently handled by former international Ademola Adeshina are hoping to cause yet another upset in Ilorin when they take on the Naze Millionares.

Route

To get to this stage of the competition, Prime FC who are currently campaigning in the National League edged the likes of Enyimba and Enugu Rangers and have promised to continue in the same light as they have their eyes on lifting the giant trophy in the finals billed for Lagos next month.
