Committee reveals details of LG's salary payment for June

Details have emerged of the percentage of salaries each of the 16 local councils in Kwara State will pay its workers for the month of June.

The payment is based on the amount of federal allocation accrued to each of the councils for June and their staff strength.

According to a document released by the State Joint Accounts Allocation Committee (JAAC), four local councils will pay their workers full salaries and above for this month.

The document shows that Offa local council will pay 100.3% salary to its staff, Isin local council will pay 104.2%, Patigi; 121.5%, while workers in Kaiama local government will get 137.6% salary.

It also revealed that Asa local council will pay its workers 77.8% salary, Baruten: 77.6%, Edu: 79.8%, Ekiti: 80.8%, Ifelodun: 60.9%, Ilorin East: 51.5%, Ilorin South: 54.2%, Ilorin West: 53.4%, Irepodun: 79.1%, Moro: 70.0%, Oke-Ero: 77.1%, and Oyun: 98.8%.
