Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed of Kwara State has been commended for granting five years tax holiday for small business owners in the state.

The Transition Implementation Chairman of Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, Alhaji Omoniyi Mukaila Ayinla made this commendation while celebrating with Kwarans on the occasion of the State's 50th anniversary.

Alhaji Ayinla who is also the Vice-Chairman of Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Kwara State Chapter said he agreed with the Chairman of the Kwara State Internal Revenue Service, Dr Murtala Awodun that tax holiday for micro, small and medium enterprises will open up the state for economic growth and development.

He enjoined all Small Business Owners in Ifelodun Local Government and Kwara state as a whole to take advantage of this great opportunity to improve their businesses.

The Ifelodun TIC Chairman also expressed appreciation to Governor Ahmed and the Group Managing Director of Harmony Holdings Limited Tope Daramola on the Harmony International Market in Amoyo which he noted will open the area to more economic opportunities when completed.

Alhaji Ayinla equally congratulate the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, Governor Ahmed and other past leaders of the state on the celebration of the golden jubilee.
