Toyin Saraki Commends the Kwara State Governor Ahmed in Achieving 35% Affirmative Appointments

The Wife of the Senate President and immediate past First Lady of Kwara State, Nigeria, Her Excellency, Mrs. Toyin Saraki has commended Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed in Achieving 35% Affirmative Appointments into political and public service positions of leadership for women, with the recently appointed Chairpersons of the Transition Implementation Councils (TIC) for the sixteen local government councils in the Kwara State.

The newly-appointed Chairpersons of the TIC were sworn in earlier today at the Government House, Ahmadu Bello Way, Ilorin and will subsequently swear in newly appointed Supervisory Councillors in their respective Local Government Areas.

Mrs Saraki in a statement earlier this morning also congratulated the newly appointed women, individually and collectively, in the Transition Implementation Council.

"I congratulate our newly appointed women, and wish them every success in this new public assignment and pray that their recognised skills of diligence, dedication and strong commitments to accountability and transparency will be brought to bear on this new assignment, God Bless and Amen."
