Sports Writers hold election in Kwara

The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, SWAN, Kwara State Chapter will on Thursday, June 30, 2016 holds election into its offices.

A statement issued on Tuesday to sports writers by the Chairman of the 2016 Kwara SWAN Electoral Committee, Abdullahi Akodudu said the election will hold at the Nigeria Union of Journalists Press Centre, along Offa road, Ilorin beginning at 10:00am.

The statement appealed to all contestants to ensure prompt submission of the forms before Thursday.

It stated that all contestants to be at the venue of the election earlier for screening. The statement added that members of the Sports Council and other stakeholders are expected to witness the conduct of the election which it assured would be hitch-free.
