PMT insists on speed limiters, opens Ilorin terminal

The Management of a leading road transport company,Peace Mass Transit,PMT,weekend,reaffirmed is resolves on installation of Speed Limiters in all its fleet to reduce the rate of auto crashes even as it commissioned its Ilorin,Kwara State capital terminal situated opposite ADP Sango Area,to ease difficulties commuters traveling to various parts of the country are bedeviled with.

The company,with a fleet of over 4,000 vehicles revealed that its aim was to ensure that its terminals were domiciled in 36 States of the nation even as plans have reached advanced stage to operate across the trans-Sahara region.

A statement signed and made available to newsmen by the Chairman,Chief Sam Maduka Onyishi in Enugu yesterday maintained that ninety percent of travelers in the country who use the roads were increasingly subjected to inhuman treatments in parks occasioned by the lack of vehicles to link them to any part of the country in a timely manner. "Most commuters as experience has shown, waste manhours in various parks waiting to board vehicles that will convey them to their destinations. This is because,transport business in the country is not booming".
