The Speaker who is on the invitation of the Director- General of the National Institute of Legislative Studies Dr Ladi Hamalai is expected to share his wealth of experience in Legal and Legislative Matters at the National Dialogue organised by the National Assembly to provide a platform for all stake holders to engage and interact on the current economic challenges confronting the nation and explore way to rehabilitate and reconstruct social and economic infrastructure in the country.

The event facilitated by the National Institute of Legislative Studies is aimed at demonstrating the role of Legislature in promoting good governance and its wider role in steering the Nigerian Economy.

The Speaker whose outstanding performance in the 7th Legislature of the National Assembly had become cynosure of all eyes across the globe was invited by the International Law Institute Washington DC in the United States of America to speak on this year's Seminar tagged "Legislative Strategic Management for Parliamentarians"

He has also been invited by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation as a guest Speaker at a Symposium convened in the Ethiopian Capital Addis Ababa to speak on the most pressing legislative issues at hand and determine how to move the African Continent forward.
