Saraki Is God's Anointed - APC Chieftain
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State, Alhaji Sulyman Kayode Yusuf, has condemned the call for the resignation of the Senate President, Bukola Saraki.
He said the conspiracy in some quarters to get Saraki out of office would collapse like a pack of cards.
Speaking with our correspondent, Yusuf said that God, who installed Saraki, will protect him, stressing that those who could not stop his ascendancy into the office of the Senate President cannot succeed in removing him.
Saraki is currently facing a 13-count charge of alleged false assets declaration before the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT).
He had received a vote of confidence from over 80 senators on Tuesday, soon after they returned from their recess.
